Sutton Foster is an award-winning performer, dancer and actor who has been featured in eleven Broadway productions - including the return of Violet and the originating roles in the Broadway productions that include The Drowsy Chaperone, Little Women, Young Frankenstein, Shrek The Musical, and the Tony Award-winning roles as a dancer and actor in Anything Goes and Thoroughly Modern Millie. Star Search was her first television appearance at the young age of 15. Her next appearances were in Bunheads and Psych as well as Johnny and the Sprites and Flight of the Conchords. Sutton Foster, a solo artist has performed across the nation and abroad along with Michael Rafter. Her songs include "Wish", "An Evening with Sutton Foster - Live at Cafe Carlyle" (her second CD) and "Anevening with Sutton Foster - Live at Joe's Pub". Ball State University conferred her with an honorary PhD in 2011. In addition to being an advisor and professor at the Department of Theatre and Dance and Dance, she also received the degree from Ball State University.
