Anna Silk

Anna Silk is Canadian actress who has been best known in Canada for the role as Bo. Silk was made by Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay and Peter Silk were both academics. Ilkay was also a director, producer and playwright. She is Director of Drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna remembers watching her mother while at work, and also attending the rehearsals for her plays. Silk made several commercials while she was still a kid. The year 1997 was the time she received an associate's degree from St. Thomas University. Theatre St. Thomas produced two early shows: Seven Menus, and The Kitchen. Silk was able to move out of Toronto in the year 1999 to Los Angeles in the decade following 1999. Seth Cooperman was her future partner when she began to meet him in 2007 in an actor's workshop in Los Angeles. The couple was married civilly in December 2009. On April 10 2011 they renewed their vows at a Jewish celebration in Fredericton following her conversion to Judaism. Silk Cooperman was born in May of 2013, and her son was called Samuel Jerome Cooperman. Levi Aaron was her second born son on 13 May 2016. Silk is known for her television role in the role of Cassidy Holland, in Being Erica. In 2009 she was awarded a nomination by her fellow actors for Gemini Awards. Silk was cast in the role as Bo Dennis the succubus on the Canadian show Lost Girl in 2009. Silk made it known to her fans that she was pregnant at the beginning of January 2013, during the Showcase Season Three Special. Silk confirmed via Twitter on June 20th that the show was coming back in the production. The fourth season began on the 4th of June 2013 and was produced by Showcase and Prodigy Pictures. The CNN Cable News Network named her portrayal of Bo as well as Lauren (Zoie Parker) on Lost Girl as same-sex couples one of their all-time favorite television Couples.
